The Parvo virus is much more common among puppies than adult dogs. There are a few things that you can do to ensure the safety of your pet and avoid this dangerous disease. One of the easiest and most important things that you can do is to establish good hygiene habits. Make sure your are religious about 
washing your hands. It is also important when taking your puppy to a place with other animals that the location requires a vet clearance for the puppies to be there. An example of this would be a puppy class. If you are in an obedience class that doesn’t require a vet clearance paper for the puppy to join the class, we highly recommend NOT taking your puppy to that class. It is key for your puppy to stay up to date on all their wellness checks and vaccines. Also, keep your puppy from getting into the feces of other animals. Even though there isn’t a sure way to keep your puppy away from this harmful disease, these simple precautions will help protect your puppy.
