Why We Socialize Your
Australian Labradoodle Puppy?
If you are considering purchasing an Australian Labradoodle puppy, make sure you choose a responsible breeder. It is very important that the breeder do socialization with your puppy. There are many things that a puppy needs to learn and experience before they come into your home.
Here are just a few ways to socialize your puppy:
- Different Textures (wood, grass, concrete, stones, carpet, etc)
- Different Sounds (vaccuum, storms, shavers, planes, other dogs barking, babies crying, crowds of people talking, busy city, etc.)
- Differents Sights (hats, umbrellas, coats, people, etc)
Is Puppy Socialization Necessary?
Pups go through various fear periods and the breeder can help with some of these things. Between 8 – 12 weeks of age is generally when a puppy goes to a new home, this is one of their fear periods. It is crucial to take a puppy to socialization classes when you bring them home. Don’t wait, get involved in training classes. It will make for a happy home now and later!
