Tribute to Paw Print
Paw Print was one of our Australian Labradoodle puppies born here at Ashford Manor Labradoodles on April 21, 2012. He was a special puppy because he had a cleft palate, which is rare in the breeder world. Paw Print was born at 8 ounces and had maintained his 8 ounces until Thursday when his weight dropped. We got his weight back up again and Paw Print maintained his birth weight but did not gain weight.
Paw Print was a great puppy to work with. We tried different methods of feeding him and settled in on tube feeding. He did a fantastic job and four of us rotated doing his feedings. He loved to snuggle up with the other puppies and never complained about anything. He was such a kind and gentle puppy, we will sure miss him.
Paw Print took his last breathe in my daughters arms this morning. I immediately tried to revive him with mouth to mouth resuscitation, only to no avail. We will all miss this little puppy as he was near and dear to our hearts. Paw Print was loved by us all.
