Hello all of you people feeding Orijen and Acana dog food. This is a new relesase which I have just received.
Heads up to those of you feeding Orijen or Acana! On September 8, the manufacturer experienced permanent damage to one of their two dryers, reducing their production capacity by 40% for the next two months. During this time, they will only be producing the following products:
ORIJEN | Adult, 6 Fish Dog, Regional Red, Cat & Kitten (5.5lbs and 29.7 lbs in these formulas)
ACANA| Wild Prairie Dog, Pacifica Dog, Grasslands Dog, Ranchlands, Chicken & Burbank and Lamb & Apple (5lbs and 28 lbs in these formulas)
You may want to stock up or switch to something else for the time being. Even if you can get the food yourself, your customers may not be able to find it after a while. I’m probably going to switch to something else, at least for the time being.
This information came from an email that was sent from my local distributor to retail locations within the past week.
If you are feeding one of these foods I suggest looking into the dog food which we feed here at Ashford Manor Labradoodles. It is called Life’s Abundance. There are various reasons we choose to feed Life’s Abundance
1. It is a premium dog food
2. There is no grain in it
3. It has never been recalled
4. All parts of it are made in the United States
5. It is shipped directly to your door
6. Dollar to pound it is comparable to other premium dog foods that you need to go to the store and purchase
