Well it is that time of year again already, the air is crisp, the leaves are falling, and we are celebrating! We try to continually give tips on many topics with your Australian Labradoodle. Today we want to address crowds!
When your Thanksgiving visitors arrive
- Give your dog a safe, quiet space where they can retreat whether it be a crate or an entire room.
- Keep an eye on your Australian Labradoodle as guests are coming in and out, open doors can be used to escape.
- Curious dogs will want to check out coats, purses, bags, suitcases, etc. Make sure they are out of your canines reach. Many medicines, chocolates, cum, candy, make-up, floss, and more can be toxic to your dog.
If your Australian Labradoodle does get into any of these items please make sure to call your emergency veterinarian immediately. Before calling know the amount of what was ingested as they will need to know this at the vet.
