Some of the parties that you might be attending or hosting this holiday season may have alcohol present.  We want to express a huge warning to never allow your puppy to ingest or drink alcohol of any kind.
When a dog is exposed to alcohol, it causes depression in their central nervous system.  A dog or puppy can become drowsy and lose their coordination.  If they are exposed to higher levels of alcohol, it can depress their nervous system to the point that that their heart rate and breathing will slow down, and their body temperature will drop.  Their blood chemistry is also altered by alcohol leading to a dangerous condition called metabolic acidosis.  Any one of these conditions could potentially result in injury or death for your puppy.
Our desire for you this holiday season is to have an enjoyable, safe one, so be responsible and have fun!
