It is important to keep up on your dogs vaccinations. As with children a puppy needs to have several rounds of shots in the beginning. It is important to keep your dog healthy and keep up on the yearly vaccinations for your dog. It is better to pay the yearly vet fee than to have a sick dog and pay the enormous bills that go along with it.

As your puppy matures and becomes a dog, they will need a little different shots. Once your puppy is 15 weeks old they will only need yearly vaccinations for the 7-way shots. The bordatella also known as Kennel Cough generally needs to be given every 6 months. Some states require more vaccinations, it depends on your climate.
