Australian Labradoodle Puppy

Paw Print

Here is the update on Ashford Manor’s Australian Labradoodle Puppy Paw Print.  He is such a sweet tempered little boy, he just snuggles up with the rest of the puppies and doesn’t even complain that he cannot nurse.

Paw Print was born at 8 ounces and he maintains the 8 ounce weight. We are desperately trying to help him gain weight.  We have switched to feeding him every hour during the day and every 2 – 3 hours at night.  Previously we were feeding him every 2 hours and have bumped that up.

From some Australian Labradoodle breeder friends we have found that there is a special nipple to feed newborn squirrels and we are going to be borrowing this new nipple.  It is similar to Summer’s nipples where it goes deep into his throat. We have also ordered more supplies to help with the feeding times.

Our veterinarian had said that there is hope for him, it will just take a lot of time. He is correct in that! We are all pretty weary around here, although five of us take shifts which make it a whole lot easier. These are some of the times I am so thankful that my children are so involved in our dogs lives. They want to see them thrive as much as I do.

Here at Ashford Manor Australian Labradoodles, everything we do is a whole family affair.  Whenever we start a project whether it be baking, building a fort, or breeding Australian Labradoodles we are all on board and we do not take it lightly.  We are in this together and are out to better the breed!

Thank you for taking time to keep up on our beautiful boy Ashford Manor Australian Labradoodles Paw Print!  He is a charm!
