We all know that it is important to brush our teeth, but did you know it is important to remember to brush your adorable Labradoodle’s teeth, too!  Brushing gets the bacterial deposits off their teeth.  If that bacteria (also known as plaque) is left on the teeth, it can lead to Periodontitis, which not only leads to bad breath and tooth loss, but can have serious effects on the puppy’s heart, liver, kidneys, and joints.  Any doggie toothbrush and tooth paste will do.  It is very important NOT to use human toothpaste!  At Ashford Manor we recommend daily brushing and a  yearly vet cleaning.  An occasional Greenie or other toy cleaning device is recommended to maintain a healthy mouth, too!
