Dogs are pack animals. This simply means that dogs enjoy and thrive being around people and other dogs. If you choose to have a house with more than one puppy, we think that is a wonderful decision that will have countless benefits. However, when it comes to training your puppies, we advise you train them separately. This is important for many reasons. During training your puppy has the opportunity to bond with the trainer. If there is more than one puppy, there will be competition for your attention. This will interfere with the individual bonding time for each puppy. Also, training one on one will allow you to see each puppy’s strengths and weaknesses. You will then be able to better praise the positive and correct the weaknesses. After the training sessions your puppies can rejoin the pack.
