Well, the training competition results are in here

at Ashford Manor Labradoodles!

The competition consisted of 5 trainers (our kids) and 5 puppies between 11 weeks and 16 weeks of age. We tested on the following items:

  • Leash Walking
  • Sit
  • Stay
  • Down
  • Come when called
  • Touch Feet
  • Touch Tail
  • Crate during day
  • Crate at night
  • Brush Teeth
  • Brush Coat
  • Bath
  • Going potty outside

It was pretty intense around here, one would see someone training their puppy and go right to training his/her puppy. It was absolutely stupendous, I am proud of each one of them. The competition was very close, much closer than I expected! Everyone was within 8 points of each other, being a total of 60 points!

The participants were as follows:

  • Connor & Ashford Manor’s Garnet
  • Taylor & Ashford Manor’s Emerald
  • Ethan & Ashford Manor’s Pearl
  • Olivia & Ashford Manor’s Padame’
  • Ashlynn & Ashford Manor’s Anakin

All of these puppies are very well behaved, although in the competition arena the children saw they do not always do what they normally do :-). Hmm, this is a good example of teenagers! I will need to remember this one :-).

Yes … we have 3 training competitors which all tied! Completely amazing!
